Downloads Etc...
In this area of the site you will find some useful programs, plug-ins, and applications that I have found during my journeys. Hopefully you will find them as helpful as I have!
General Downloads
- Macromedia Flash Player 7 - This latest version of the Flash Player will allow you to view all of the multimedia content of this website, as well as any other sites that use Flash Movies.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 6 - The Adobe Acrobat Reader will allow you to view any and all PDF files you may encounter on your journeys through the internet. It will install the stand-alone viewer, as well as the plug-ins for your web browser.
- AOL Instant Messenger - Seems like everybody and their brother has a screenname or seventy nowadays, so it's become a valuable tool for keeping in contact. If you are operating on a platform other than Microsoft Windows, follow this link. Don't have a screenname? Click Here to get one.
- WSFTP LE - WSFTP LE is an FTP program you can use to transfer files to and from a remote server. The best part about it? If you are a student, you can use it for free!
- Winamp 3.0 - This has always been my favorite MP3 playback software, and now it can play movie files too! The new version of Winamp is a little lacking in some of its old features, but it has some new ones that make it worth the download.
- Kazaa - Kazaa is, as I'm sure you all know, a peer to peer file sharing program that you can use to get all sorts of files from other users, some more legal than others. Be careful with this program though, because as I'm sure any music lover can tell you, it is really easy to download a virus or other masty file onto your hard drive!
