We are a global association of technical professionals dedicated to the improvement of society through the advancement of technology. IEEE makes standards for electrical equipment, help to find jobs for members, publish literature, and possess massive databases of technical information.

As the Stony Brook Univesity chapter of the IEEE, we share in the vision of the global organization. Our main concern involves giving members opportunities to advance their knowledge and provide an environment where they can more easily find a job after graduation from the university.
