****************************************************************** BSPG News and Meeting (No. 237) ****************************************************************** Edited by Stony Brook Buddhism Study and Practice Group Meeting: Thursday 2/12 7-8:30PM in the 3rd Floor SAC Lounge Area News: 1.Greetings All! Sorry about the delay but we have been having some issues getting a room booked for the semester and unfortunetly we will be without a room every few weeks or so. The meeting this Thursday however is the first meeting of the semester and as such, we will provide a brief overview of what activities and events we have planned this semester. Since we do not have a room for this week, we will have a discussion group instead of a regular meditation sitting. We look forward to seeing you there! 2.The Buddhist Project is a series of currently ongoing exhibits which feature the Buddhist spirit in contemporary art in addition to exploring the many and varied relationships of Buddhism and the arts in contemporary American culture. Exhibitions, public forums, installations and literary events are taking place in the all over the New York City area and will run through March 2004.
