2.There's a mistake on previous issue of BSPG Newsletter.
The dates for taking refugee was incorrect in the
previous issue

Correction on previous news:

Taking Refuge:transmitted by Master Sheng-yen. 
The correct dates are Sunday, Nov. 2 and 16. 
From 9 to 10am, Taking Refuge in the Three 
Jewels: the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha is a 
commitment to becoming a lay Buddhist. To 
take refuge means to return, to rely, and to 
trust that the Three Jewels can guide us 
toward full liberation and consummation of 
complete enlightenment. Transmission of the 
five precepts is also available. Please call 
for information and enrollment. Please arrive 
at Chan Meditation Center at 8:45am.

2.The Art of Sublime:contemporary Tangkas from Nepal.

3.Master Sheng Yen will give public lecture at the 
Pennsylvania State University on 11/22,11/23. There
will also be two Beginner's meditation class.

4.New session of Weekly English Meditation

5.The Buddhist Project is a series of currently 
ongoing exhibits which feature the Buddhist 
spirit in contemporary art in addition to exploring 
the many and varied relationships of Buddhism 
and the arts in contemporary American culture.

literary events are taking place in the all over 
the New York City area and will run through
