1.The Art of Sublime:contemporary Tangkas from Nepal.
The Art of Sublime features recent tangkas created in
Nepal. These modern examples continue to inspire awe
with their colorful beauty, religious symbolism, and
painstaking attention to detail. Images include
Mandalas, the Wheel of Life, BUddha, and deities.

2.Maitreya Project will host a Heart Shrine Relic

3.New session of Weekly English Meditation 
Workshop in upstate, Deer Park Retreat Center. 
Class include Tai-Chi and meditation.Tentative

4.New 4-Week Program Starting Tuesday Evening 9/16 
- WORKING WITH THE MIND - Ajahn Sundara Tuesdays 
(9/16, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14) 7pm-8:30pm in the small 
meditation hall. The evenings will start with a 
meditation period followed by a presentation and 
a discussion. This will be an opportunity to 
explore the practice of Buddhist meditation and 
to investigate the supportive factors for the 
cultivation of mindfulness and inner balance 
in both formal and daily life practice.

5.The Buddhist Project is a series of currently 
ongoing exhibits which feature the Buddhist 
spirit in contemporary art in addition to exploring 
the many and varied relationships of Buddhism 
and the arts in contemporary American culture. 
Exhibitions, public forums, installations and 
literary events are taking place in the all over 
the New York City area and will run through
