A Typical Sensor Field for the Inverse Problem

Home

Welcome! I am Vadim Pinskiy, a Doctoral Student in Biomedical Engineering [BME] at Stony Brook University. This website contains information about my academic history, employment history, current academic standing, ongoing projects and other interests. In brief, I am currently completing my first semester as a PhD student, during which I worked as a teaching assistant for BME 100 [Introduction to Biomedical Engineering] and performed a laboratory rotation at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Partha Mitra. My current research with Dr. Mitra focuses on source localization of EEG and MEG data by solving the inverse problem individually for each modality and then using that as a pretext for actual joint localization. The underlining purpose of this endeavor is to create more robust imaging modality, one that offers high temporal resolution and high temporal resolution.
