The talk by Matthew de Ganon, the senior vice president of weather.com is very interesting. He introduced us how weather.com makes money and helped everybody by giving daily weather information. Weather is a very important thing to everybody. We need to know what the weather is like everyday unless we didn’t step out of our house for the whole day. It is also very helpful that when we want to travel to somewhere, we can know what the weather will be like in those days we are going to be there. Therefore, a website that contains daily weather forecast of almost all the places and even the forecast of 7 days. However, Matthew told us that this weather information actually does not help their company earn money! It is actually the advertisement on the website and some advance information in their website that helped them make money.
