To navigate through the site, click on a letter in the bottom frame.
This will produce a list of people on the site with surnames beginning
with that letter. The lists are alphabetical by surname. If
there are two or more people with the same name, the oldest is first in
the list. If two people have the same first and last names, those with
middle names will come after those with none, for example: |
| William Bradley John Brown, b. 1666 John Brown, b. 1887 John Henry Brown John William Brown Thomas Butler |
| Notice how John Henry Brown comes before John William Brown since
William follows Henry alphabetically.
The purpose of this site
is to make the sharing of genealogical information
as quick and efficient as possible. I should acknowledge the people who have
done the bulk of the work as I have done almost none of the actual
research.
They include Mrs. Yvette Dwyer, Cynthia Brott Biasca, Albert Luther,
Gerry Killeen, Frank Hakney, Myrna Reeves, Arnold Dales, Tom Parkin, John
Colegrove and many others,
too numerous to mention. I hope to eventually include all references for
information presented on my site, but until that time, the only way to
know if information you find here is backed up by a reference is to
contact me. I have attempted to put only referenced information on the
web, but in correspondence with people, I have often put information
for their lineages on the site. For much of this information, I have no
personal knowledge about the state of references.
In the interests of personal privacy I have decided not to include any family
group records with people born post 1910. There are some exceptions where
people are no longer living or the majority of the family was born
pre-1910 with one or two children born later. In other cases people want
recent information on the site, and I am more than willing to include it. This
means that most people who belong to a lineage on this site will be able to
find grandparents or great grandparents listed, but nothing more recent.
As for conventions used in presenting the information: where individuals
have been assigned an identification number, males have
odd number designations, females have even number designations. Surnames are
capitalized on the family group sheets. Navigation through the site involves simply following the links for people you are interested in. On any page, the mother, father, or both will be a link. This link will take you back one generation to the parents of this person. You can resize the bottom frame. By placing the mouse pointer over the border you should get a cross, click and hold and you can shrink the bottom frame to almost nothing to give you a bigger window for the family group records. |
