The Vanderbilt Planetarium

One of the largest and best equipped in the country, the Vanderbilt Planetarium in Centerport, New York features a 60 foot sky theater and a customized Goto projection instrument which can reproduce the heavens at any given moment in time. In addition to the Goto projector, the planetarium uses slide projectors to place images and special effects onto its dome ceiling.
