CALL FOR ACADEMIC AND CREATIVE WORKS

International Journal of Arts and Literary Criticism

HiperFeira is extending a call for academic and creative works for the next issue, planned for June 2006.
HiperFeira publishes academic works related to literature, art, and culture of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America, as well as essays on Cultural Studies, Film Studies, and Political Sciences. It also publishes creative works such as poems, short stories, selections from novels and theatrical works, art (graphic art, illustrations, photographs, etc), and translations.

The formal requirements are:

Length: the academic works should have a maximum of 20 pages. They should follow the MLA format. Notes must go at the end of the article, never as footnotes. Creative works should not exceed a maximum of 10 pages.
Format: the works should be sent as a document via e-mail, preferably using a program compatible with PC, such as Microsoft Word. In relation to works of art, these may be sent as photographs, diskettes, or paper.
On the document only the title of the work and the author's name should appear. On a separate sheet of paper the following information should be listed: name, department, university, home telephone number, address and the title of the work.
Language: The works may be written in Galician, Spanish, English, Italian, Catalan, Portuguese, or French.
