What is the SWE Resume CD?

The SWE Resume CD is a compilation of SWE members' resumes that is given to corporate representatives and recruiters along with information regarding SWE's mission and upcoming events. It's a great way for you to put yourselves out there and get noticed by companies. You must be a PAID SWE member in order to get your resume on the CD.

What do I have to do to join?

For more information on how to join, attend our General Body meetings (Bi-weekly Wednesdays 7PM in SAC 311) to fill out a membership application and pay membership dues. If you are unable to attend our meetings but would still like to join, contact us at swe@ic.sunysb.edu OR sign up online at www.swe.org.

What are SWE Points and what do I have to do to accumulate them?

SWE points are awarded to members when they attend meetings and events. Members who help at events receive extra points. At the end of each semester, members with the highest number of points accumulated will receive prizes. SWE points are also used to determine a member's status within the organization. Members who are most active receive the benefit of preference to exclusive events, such as the Breakfast Mixer.

Membership dues for the new semester are $20 for the entire academic year.
