  • Traits developed through Phiota: After going through the process of becoming a brother of Phi Iota Alpha, I have learned what pride in one's heritage truly is. Phi Iota Alpha has helped me expand my knowledge of my culture as well as who I am as a person.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: This organization has demonstrated to me the importance of professionalism and collective action. It has instilled in me a heightened cultural awareness, and the importance of Pan-Americanism for all Latinos. It has enabled me to develop strong leadership skills, and apply them for the realization of potential and acquirement of excellence, influencing others in the pursuit of achieving community empowerment.

  • Education: BE Electrical Engineering
  • Traits developed through Phiota: Phi Iota Alpha has helped me become a more humble person with a better understanding of the society that we as Latinos are part of—not only in the United States, but in Latin America as well. I also learned to embrace the Latino culture through the ideals of Pan Americanism, through which I'm able to recognize the similarities within our history as Latinos, regardless of our nationality. Also, this fraternity has showed me the true meaning of brotherhood, in which my family has extended, demonstrating me that our unification as Latinos is possible when we fight for the same cause.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: This Fraternity has further helped me become a more Productive Latino. With the skills I acquired, such as professionalism, teamwork, and, most importantly, leadership; I now have the right mindset in approaching society as a male Latino. With this experience, I also became a more humble person, and more—importantly—I gained a better understanding of my culture and the hardships faced by many in Latin America.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: Phi Iota Alpha has helped me open my eyes to the truth within Lating America. I believe that we can strive on bettering all the people of Latin America through their unification, or Pan–Americanism. Phi Iota Alpha has made me a better Latino and has taught me how to become a professional and educated young man.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: Phi Iota Alpha instilled in me a pride in my own heritage as well as an appreciation for the Latino culture. It has kindled that fire in me to help the latino community in any way I can. I have been able to further strengthen qualities that were already strong points in my personality, while conquering fears and learning to work on weaknesses that have held me back from my potential as a person. Phi Iota Alpha has helped me become a strong leader and I will always apply the lessons learned with my family and the community in order to one day achieve Pan–Americanism.
