  • Education: Undergrad
  • Traits developed through Phiota: Phi Iota Alpha inspired me to help out the Latino community through what we stand for, Pan-amercanism. Our goal is to achieve that unification, and I feel that we accomplish that when we have our social and educational events. It has also shown me the true meaning of familia. I am proud to be Peruvian, but most important of all, I love being LATINO!

  • Traits developed through Phiota: The Fraternity has imbued me with an understanding and a burning desire for the accomplishment of Pan Americanism. I have greatly refined my best qualities while simultaneously learning how to turn my weaknesses into greater strengths. Lastly, I have become better prepared to be a professional than I ever could've been as an unafiliated individual.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: This organization has played an intricate part in my evolution of becoming a man. Through it I developed academic discipline, leadership, how to be a resourceful, and most of all I reached a whole new level of cultural and social awareness of the Latin American culture. I will exert these qualities to my fullest potential, in order to promote Pan-Americanism.
  • Current profession: Student Activities Service Coordinator, Stony Brook University

  • Goals: I intend to use the traits and lessons learned throughout my process and tenure as an undergrad and apply them via viplomacy. In the coming years, I plan to work with the Panamanian government to assess and advocate for the interests of the Republic of Panama and those of other Latin American nations to do my small part in the overall mission of this illustrious organization, Pan-Americanism.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: The fraternity has helped me to further develop my skills to be a leader. The fraternity has taught me what true brotherhood means, and I am fortunate to be among the brightest minds in this campus. The fraternity allows me to feed my hunger to help people that are not as fortunate as I, especially those in the Latino community. The fraternity has instilled in me the strength and confidence to tackle any obstacle that may present itself throughout my life.

  • Traits developed through Phiota: This organization has positively influenced the way I view myself as an individual. It pushed my boundaries and made me realize that the true strength of an individual lies within the mind. This has provided me with the confidence needed to be a leader in my community. I plan on using everything that I have learned to positively influence those who might need guidance or a helping hand.
