About Us Since its founding in Georgia State University on November 29,
1977, Golden Key International Honour Society has emerged as one of the most dynamic, forward-thinking organizations in higher education. Committed to an ethos of recognizing academic achievement
and encouraging altruistic service, the Society has expanded to 260 universities since its humble beginning at Georgia State University. Twenty years later, Golden Key can reflect on its
noteworthy accomplishments not only in the United States, but also in Australia, Canada and Malaysia. Arguably the most progressive honor society
today, Golden Key's phenomenal growth can be attributed to the efforts of a dedicated corps of volunteers that include the board of directors, council, corporate advisory board and outstanding
chapter leaders--the advisors, officers and honorary members-- within each university.Golden Key has a permanent headquarters to keep members and alumni in touch no matter where they may be The Society's constitution strictly prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, handicap, age, sexual
orientation or social status. Mission Statement Golden Key is an internationally recognized academic honor society dedicated to excellence. Membership is by invitation only to those
students who earn this outstanding academic distinction. The goals of the Society are to recognize and encourage scholastic achievement and excellence in all undergraduate fields of study, to
unite with faculty and administrators in developing and maintaining high standards of education, to provide economic assistance to outstanding members by means of both undergraduate and graduate
