Key Passing Luncheon

• Golden Key will hold its annual Key Passing Luncheon today, at 12:40 in the University Club. The old officers will pass on their positions to  new officers at this time.

General Meeting--2/19

• There will be a general body meeting for all members of Golden Key on Wednesday, February 19th, on the 3rd floor of the SAC. All members please try to attend, as we will be discussing upcoming events for the semester.

Regional Conference in Queens College

• The Golden Key Regional Conference will take place in Queens College this year, from March 27-30. The registration forms are to be postmarked by February 28th. During this weekend, chapter leaders and members will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of event: sharpen leader skills, learn more about Golden Key, etc. Accomodations are by the Sheraton Hotel near LaGuardia Airport. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the building leadership, and additionally there are trips to NYC, to places such as the Statue of Liberty, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Empire State Building. For more information, contact one of the advisors, Brian or Annette.

Stony Brook Day in Albany

• Golden Key members are invited to take a trip to Albany on February 25th, to meet with senators and congressmen, giving students a chance to voice their opinions on the State University system. If anyone is interested in attending as a Golden Key member, please contact one of the advisors, Brian or Annette, for more information.

Induction Ceremony  November 10

• Golden Key will have its annual Induction Ceremony on Sunday,  November 10, at the SAC Phase II Ballroom A

April 23, 2002

NYPIRG Sleep-out

• Golden Key will be participating in the NYPIRG Hunger and Homeless Sleep-out on Friday, April 26th, at the Academic Mall, from 8PM to 12AM-- you don't have to stay for the whole time, but it is encouraged to go listen to the speakers!

Debbie Whitmore Run

• Golden Key will also be participating in the Debbie Whitmore Cancer Run, on Sunday, April 28th, at 10 AM. If you do not want to run, but are still interested in helping out,  Susan Dimonda is seeking volunteers to help register, distribute water bottles, etc.  If you volunteer you must be available from 8:30-11:30 AM-- please contact Susan at 632-7206.

Semiformal

• Just a reminder that the GK- sponsored Cardozo semiformal is April 27th, from 8PM-1AM. Tickets cost $7 and are on sale now at the SAC box office, and can also be purchased that night at the Union box office. Hope to see you all there!!
