Welcome to the Stony Brook University Culinary Club! The purpose of the Culinary Club is to promote food appreciation including food culture, food history, culinary arts, and various culinary techniques involving different types of cooking. The members of the club will be able to discuss topics related to food and culinary arts and present and exchange their own cooking. Also, there will be a monthly cooking demonstration and potluck available to the club participants.

The Culinary Club was established during Fall 2006 by Yi, Steven, Kenny, Catherine, Fiona, and Samantha. The club's first meeting was held in West Apartment D in November 2006, in which 25 members attended the meeting. Although the club is less than a year old, it is one of the fastest growing clubs on Stony Brook University's campus. In addition, Jennifer Kalar of The Statesmen wrote about our club in a recent article "How Alive is Campus Life?".
