ASEAS is a science and engineering oriented student organization founded in the Fall of 2003 at Stony Brook University . The driving force behind its formation is to facilitate and improve the education of students in the sciences, especially of African descent. This organization hopes to achieve this through the integration of lectures, publications, internships, volunteering, counseling and career guidance to all members. ASEAS is open to any student who accepts its aims and objectives, and the policies and regulations of Stony Brook University . ASEAS does not discriminate on race, sex, age, religion or political affiliation. |
