Grading will be based on a series of quizzes (20%), a midterm (40%), and a final (40%). Borderline grades will be determined by class participation. The first exam will be March 13. The final will be on Tuesday, May 20 at 11:00. The quizzes will be unannounced. Students will be able to drop their two lowest quizzes. Make-up quizzes will not be given; that is why you get to drop two of them. Make-up exams will only be given with a medical note from a doctor.
