Since I was a history major at the State University of New York at Albany, I thought it would be interesting to create a site which would help educators decide which sites were effective in discussing the Berlin Wall and Abraham Lincoln. I had the opportunity to visit Germany during the summer of 1993 on an exchange program at the Technical University at Braunschweig, Germany. During my stay, I was able to see the Berlin Wall, and take a tour of both sides of the city. I had an interest in Abraham Lincoln while I was an undergraduate, and had an opportunity to study him at depth. I think both of these topics are interesting, and I would hope that these site evaluations would be helpful and useful for educators to both teach their subjects and save them time in directing them away from ineffective web sites.
