MusicWeb Quest

Objective:

Each student is to use the internet as their tool to put together a demonstration of one of the below periods in history. Each demonstration must have a midi file, four pictures and self-written text connecting it all.

You can use either Yahoo, Magellan or Webtaxi as your search engine.

Follow the steps below to guide you along your quest!

Step One:

Choose one historical period for your demonstration

Medievil

Renassaince

Baroque

Classical

Romantic

Contemporary

Step Two:

On your hardrive, place the following:

A picture of a famous composer from that period

A midi-file containing a sampling of music of this composer

A picture of a famous artist

An example of the artist's work

A picture of an important historical figure

Step Three:

Using Adobe Pagemill, create a demonstration/webpage using the information you gathered
